Fleur-de-lis

I have always loved the fleur-de-lis symbol and the significance it has for my city. The fleur-de-lis meaning "Lily Flower" was the symbol of King Louis XVI of France, the namesake for Louisville, Kentucky. I wanted to do a watercolor version that matched the style of my watercolor Kentucky painting. The fleur-de-lis would look so cute hung on an entry way hall or incorporated into a gallery wall. I have other fun watercolor KY themed paintings in my shop, that can be mixed and matched to create the perfect gallery wall.
